What is the General equation for adding salt in a soft drink and rapidly decarbonating it? {mixed up bcoz NaCl is a neutral salt and H2CO3 is a relatively weak acid} Can somebody provide a general explanation on this.

I think dissolving salt to carbonated water decreases the solubility of CO2 in water and thus makes CO2 released faster. This can be visualized as these ions replace CO2 in the gap between water molecules. I'm using the fact that water and salt-water have quite different physical properties.
