Can someone please explain why the answer is C, i'm not particularly sure how to exactly work it out.
I know it's not A or D, but why is it not B?

-log(0.05 x 2) =1
So it's C
(disclaimer: I just started studying for acidic (legit behind) so I'm not sure if I'm doing it right )

For option B), since its pH is 1.0 (implying a H+ concentration of 0.1 mol/L), and concentration is 0.1 mol/L, it follows that each mole of the acid contains 1 mole of H+, so it is monoprotic. For C), the concentration is 0.05 mol/L, but the H+ concentration is 0.1 mol/L (as the pH is 1.0), so there must be 2 moles of H+ per mole of acid, i.e. it is diprotic.
