Ahh, im so stuck

I have an assignment on the development of theories about acids, and i need help.
I cant find any information about Joseph Priestley, and i need to know his theory about acids.
I can't find anything for Justus von Liebig either.

Hmm.. researching on the development of acid-base theories usually just covers the syllabus dot point, 4.1.1 lavoisier, davy and arrhenius..

Try encarta, if the google cannot provide sufficient information.

Research Information

You should find all your information at these two sites

You will find all the information on Joseph Priestley in the second webpage, there isnt much to now about Preistley: he was among the first to propose the idea thta hydrogen was the main conpoentant of acids, from his synthesis of HCl(aq) which he called muriatic acid.

Regards,
George
