Evaluation of reliability of cation/anion elimination tests

Hello,

What could I talk about for the evaluation of reliability of cation/anion elimination tests?

I can't find anything in my textbook. I mean, I know the concentration of the ions needs to be above 0.1M, but apart from that what else could I talk about?

Thanks
