Cat Scan Vs X Ray

The following are two scans of the chest: CAT Scan and X-rAY. The dotpoint asks to compare the information provided by each of the same body part. I've got some differences and similarities listed, but was wondering if there was more that i could include. Can u guys find anything else thats important?

1. The Cat scan image has greater resolution than x ray.
2. Both use x rays to obtain the images and expose the patient to hazardous ionising radiation
3. Both are 2D although the cat scan image originated from a 3D image.
4. The cat scan shows alot more detail, the actual size, shape and positioning of heart. The xray is just a brief outline of the structure of the chest without detail.
5. CAT Scans have 256 step grey scale, compared with a 30 step scale of common x ray, and so, show much contrast of tissue. In the cat scan chest there is alot of contrast with many blacks, whites, dark and light greys showing the boundaries between bone, soft tissue and air.

Mention the clarity of soft tissue.
Not sure what you mean by 3d, as CAT scans start out as 2d slices
Talk about how the rib layer has been removed in the CAT

CAT scans uses 2d slices to produce a resultant 3d image.

Yeh I think what you have is fine, just add:
* ability to digitally remove structures such as ribs in CAT
* ability to visualise vessels and soft tissue much more clearly in CAT
