contructing a 3d model of DNA

I just got an assignment notice sheet due in few weeks time which says construct a 3D model of DNA and must have 6-12 nitrogen base pairs.
for past bio students, how did you guys do it? any suggestions

Hi haru,

We did this in class, we just used strings with pegs.

I bought a box of those colourful beads of different shapes and sizes, and stringed them on wires. The pretty ones get the marks.
