6 Mar 2010, 1:38 PM ![]() | Re: HOX, HOM and Homeotic genes As far as I know, HOM and HOX genes are types of homeotic genes; HOM genes control the spatial arrangement of body parts in insects and some other invertebrates while HOX genes do the same thing for mammals. I really hope I'm right, considering the exam's tomorrow =).
