i was doin my dot points and im not sure what to write for this particular one. any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is where your "Out of Africa" and "Theory of Regional Continuity" come in. You need to look at where and when these two models say the different species evolved (eg that OoA says Homo sapiens evolved in Afrika then spread, and that ToRC says they evolved from Homo erectus at different points around the globe). Also look at straight line and branched theories.

The BoS does not expect you to memorise the whole trees, the key is "annalyse and evaluate the evidence". You might get a question showing two conflicting models, and be asked to provide some points for and against.

i use to think that the different views were ones such as when it was discovered that the neanderthals werent a direct ancestor.
