How do i ESTIMATE the combustion energy value for the alcohol substituent (OH) in ? given that methane is 726, ethane is 1367, 1-propanol is 2021 and 1-butanol is 2676.. and also that the combustion energy involved in each -CH2- is 650kJ/mol.
