i need help answering this dot point which has a question along with it:

process informtion fromsecondary sources to outline and analyse the impact of the work of Galvani, Volta, Davy and Faraday in understanding electron transfer reactions.

and the question is : What uses have each scientists discoveries been put to thereby changing the world we live in? Make sure all four scientists work is discussed.

plz help, i would really really appreciate it :D

It's about time that I say this, again. Although I mean it sincerely..

Have you even tried looking for the information yourself before posting and asking us? This dot point requires basically no brain power but pure memory.. I recall seeing sufficient, if not copious, amount of infomation on this dot point in major HSC text books. Even the Pocket Excel HSC Chemistry book has this covered..

Please, try to do it yourself before asking for help next time.. It's far better to learn that way..

Really.. you don't deserve any help..

Okkay... In that case, let's look at the dot point:

Describe the work of Galvani, Volta, Davy and Faraday in increasing understanding of electron transfer reactions

This is how I think the points (6) are given:

1 mark - Galvani's work
1 mark - Volta's work
1 mark - Davy's work
1 mark - Faraday's work
2 mark - explains how these scientists have helped us to understand electron transfer reactions by referring to their work

:) Do you get what I mean? Don't be freaked out by the question just beacuse it is 6 mark.. I am still (since the year I did my HSC) under the impression that this question will not appear in the HSC... (or did it?) because this is simply boring U_____U Although, who knows what the crazy Board of Studies people will do :p

now be happy and relax :)

uhh.. sorry if you were upset.. I usually accuse people before knowing what exactly is going on :p I'm sorry, truely :)

yea i get you. it's just that the whole 6 mark question was:

What uses have each scientists discoveries been put to thereby changing the world we live in? Make sure all four scientists work is discussed.

and mentioning what faraday, galvani, volta and davy was another question which was worth 4 marks.

and this wasnt a test question, it was for my assignment :p
but dw mito~ i got my info :D

thanks for all your help
