I really need some more information on the chromatography and electrophoresis practicals in this option. My friend from another school recons we should've used paper chromatography to seperate the components of leaves and used multiple mobile phases. We just used ink dots and water for the mobile phase... What other mobile phases should be have used and what components would be separated in leaves?? In the electrophoresis practical it failed miserably and our teacher never gave us any notes/ sheets actually on it and I've basically forgotten most of what we did. What equipment was needed? What mixture should have been used for the electrolyte/buffer solution? and what mixture should have we separated? |
