Does anyone have anything that describes what the formulas are used for? I have some ideas, but get confused and I've Been taught SUVAT for the formulas but when it comes to the Formula Sheet i have no clue.... Any help?

Δx = range or horizontal distance
Δy= vertical distance or s
v_x= Horizontal velocity final
u_x= Horizontal velocity initial
Note that Horizontal initial and final velocity is the same
v_y= Vertical velocity final
u_y= Vertical velocity initial
a_y= acceleration due to gravity
