A canon is placed on top of a 100.0 m high cliff on the coast overlooking the sea. In the
cannonball leaves the canon with an initial vertical velocity of 35.0 ms-1 upward in a
horizontal velocity of 60 ms-1.

a) Find the maximum height it will reach above the sea?
b) Find the total time of the flight of the canon ball?
c) Find the range?
d) Find the velocity of the cannonball just prior to impact? Find the total time of the
flight of the canon ball?

Alternatively, for the second question, you can split the projectile into two parts
