    Find the net force acting on the Moon from the Earth and the Sun

    Find the net force acting on the Moon from the Earth and the Sun assuming that they are
    at right angles to each other.

    Mass of moon = 7.35 x 10^22 kg
    Mass of sun = 1.99 x 10^30 kg

    Radius of moon-earth = 3.84x10^5 km
    radius of moon-sun = 1.5x10^8 km

    Answer is 4.77x10^20 N at 24.6 degrees

    Can't be bothered getting my calc so just find the force from Earth, then the Sun, and use pythagoras (vector addition) to find the net force on the Moon. Use trig to find the angle.

    That's exactly what i did but answer was different. I'm guessing the answer provided is incorrect then.
