Re: Does anyone know about the evolution of Ammonites?!?

When i did a similar assignment the main fossils we could do were trilobites, ammonites and Graptolites.
I chose ammonites. The main evolutionary changes in the Ammonites were an overall coiling then uncoiling, as well as a development of stronger shells with more ornamentation.
I chose to do the uncoiling of the ammonites.
