Here's the notes that I got on this particular dot point: In Aust, soil salinity naturally occurs because: a) There was an inland sea in the Ordivician b) There is sporadic rain c) There is extreme heat which causes evaporation d) Inward drainage means dissolved salts from weathering and erosion go inland
