Hey,

In terms of the syllabus dot point as part of the Multimedia option topic I couldn't find anything on 'the demands placed on hardware by multimedia systems'. This includes primary/secondary storage, processing requirements and so forth.

Couldn't find it the the Sam Davis textbook, and the hardware is talked about but no linked back to demand by multimedia systems in the Excel textbooks, and Mr Brightside's notes don't really go into it either.

Anyone got any suggestions where I could find info on it?

It's a simple dotpoint basically you discuss stuff like how you require more powerful CPU's with larger Cache and mulitple cores, SSD's over HDD's for faster read/write speed, higher resolution monitors, more RAM, etc.

If i remember correctly, this dotpoint is literally mentioning how hardware is affected, or how it affects multimedia. E.g. For someone who does video editting and image editting, a powerful computer with power CPU, large storage, high end graphics card and decent amount of RAM is needed.
