You can hide this advertisement by registering. hey is there any way that you can distinguish between Lyric Poem, Ode, Sonnet, Ballad, Epic?Like cause I have an english exam tomorrow so just wondering is there any possible way to distinguish the differences between these... l For example, if i was given a poem and was asked what type of poem this is? Could you tell me how i can say what type of poem it will be?

Don't be lazy. And just thought I should tell you, sonnets and odes are technically lyrical poems, which is a very broad term.
