haha YES!! childrens poetry all the way lol. In fact my opening quote is rather similar:

"All the council signs
and all the council men
couldn't put her
together again"

Opening poem:

"though lust
prepares us for savagery,
it will never prepare us for
life.

the bastard child
of impulse and wish."
