The Search for Better Health Challenge Question 3In this unit, you have developed a general understanding on genetic resistance in pathogens and how it helps in the spread of diseases. For example, drug resistance in bacteria - the development of superbugs. One of the mechanism behind drug resistance is selection (leaving resistant individuals behind to proliferate). Another mechanism is bacteria exchange genetic materials. Question 1 (Difficulty 7/10) How do they exchange genetic materials? Question 2 (Difficulty: 10/10!!) Can we stop the exchange of genetic materials in bacteria??!
