Do fungi or bacteria cause fermentation? - in concern to producing alcohol as a product...I know that yeast (uni-cellular FUNGI) can cause fermentation under the right condition of temperature, pH, with a suitable carbohydrate source. However...i also read (confusingly) that bacteria cause fermentation -> So do fungi or bacteria cause fermentation, or both??? |
