9 Feb 2008, 9:56 PM ![]() | Re: DNA Replication... Generally, its the same always, u need a DNA Polymerase, primers and Nucleotide triphospates for DNA replication. Although there are differenced between Pro and Eukaryotes here. They have different DNA Polymerases and also Bacteria with their circular chromosomes have a rolling circle replication method. Because the Eukaryotic DNA are in linear chromosomes they have telomeres on the ends. Otherwise i would think DNA replication is pretty much the same everywhere. Though you could have retrotransposons(google it) if you wanted to count that as a sort of DNA replication. |
