The various races of the human species have adapted in accordance to their surroundings. For instance, many East Africans are very long and thin, to cope with their hot climate by increasing SA:V ratio. And eskimos are very rotund, to reduce heat dissipation, and their eyelids are very slanted to reduce retina damage from the harsh reflection of light from the ice/snow. Is it possible that some races have adapted to be smarter in comparison to other races?

These differences in characteristics stem from polymorphism and clinal gradation. And how do you define 'smartness' and 'intelligence', as it can be ambiguous, and on what set of criteria do you base it on?

I suppose the criteria for 'smartness' and 'intelligence' could be very ambigious. Even things like an IQ test often don't reflect true intelligence, but things learned over time and conditioned responses. I suppose we could only look at things in relativity.
