What is a marxist interpretation of Act 1 Scene 1 and act 5 scene 3?

Question Re: Marxist interpretation of King Lear

Something to do with the nature of power that King Lear and the others are using.

Also something to do with the class system.

Will read that scene through and get back to you with more ideas. This is general Marxism which I know and understand. (and sympathesise with!).

Re: Marxist interpretation of King Lear

A Marxist reading of King Lear argues – overtly – in favour of the ruling aristocratic group and a denunciation of the new groups. A Marxist reading of King Lear reveals a juncture between the old feudal form and the emerging capitalist form of society.

don't ask me what that means. i am highly confused. so are marxists FOR or AGAINST feudalism?
in this case, is feudalism synonomous with aristocracy?
