16 Mar 2010, 6:43 PM ![]() | Mid Year Intake : WAM & UAI Q. You can hide this advertisement by registering. Hi, I graduated with a diploma at UTS:Insearch with a WAM of 75 (Studied 1.5 FTE). Im looking to apply to UNSW for B Arts (Cut-off 76). I have heard that they take into account ur UAI and not only ur WAM if u want to enroll. Seeing that my UAI was a really disapointing ... 51, wouldnt it just completely crush my chances of being offered a place. But I had heard they use 50/50 of ur UAI and WAM to base their decisions but others say 25/75 of ur UAI and WAM respectively, while others say only ur WAM is taken into account. Can someone help confirm this? How are my chances for gettin in ? T.T Please help me out Last edited by Sumguy123; 12 Jun 2009 at 2:53 PM. |

I'm pretty sure UNSW considers either GPA or UAI, which ever is higher, after 1 year of tertiary study but I'm not sure if insearch counts. Email UNSW Undergraduate Admission (ugadmis@unsw.edu.au) to find out.
