Average GPA to transfer?

I am currently studying Bachelor Arts/Law at Victoria University and to be frank I'm hating it so far... so I'm planning to transfer to RMIT doing Psychology (Applied Science).

My problem is that my ENTER score was 76.10 and the clearly-in score for that course for 2009 was 81.95. It didn't seem like it was that much of a popular course as roughly... 65 people got in? I figured that the worst possible GPA I could get is 4.5 ... I suppose the point of this thread was that I am curious to know if I have enough marks to get into the course.

I've tried phoning RMIT to ask but they just transferred my call all over the place that I gave up eventually. VTAC wasn't helpful either. So... I'm asking here, lol. Thank you!

Re: Average GPA to transfer?

Not sure if this is the correct course, but here's the link for the info.
RMIT - Psychology – Bachelor of Applied Science

the site states that:

"Non-Year 12 applicants are encouraged to apply and may be required to have relevant employment or evidence of experience and/or ability to meet the demands of the program."

so it doesn't really detail you on what the GPA requirements are. but most, if not all, require a minimum of a credit average. dont bother calling the general hotlines etc. call directly to the administrations officer for your department because they will be the one looking at your application.

do you have the relevant work experience as well?

ps. do you know a guy called kelvin mui? he does first year arts/law at VU as well

oh and also, ENTER score won't matter as much as GPA. So as long as your GPA outweighs your ENTER score youll be fine. i think ENTER score is used if youre comparing two students with the same GPA's

and one more thing: make sure you apply quickly, not sure if VTAC has closed early submissions, but in UAC a lot of health sciences closed their applications today ... so good luck lol
