dude, you'll get in. I mean they say you should apply if you get a D avg and a 95+ UAI. You've got way over that :)
My reply was:
'From the information you have provided, there is a chance that you will receive an offer of admission next year in the Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies). The entry standards for our courses fluctuate from year to year, so I cannot say for sure, but your results are sufficiently good that your application might be successful.'

However, last year it was about 5.75 so I like my chances. Doing an 8cp subject paid off too! It will set me apart from 6.0 GPAs :)

yeah, i'm not at all confident despite the fact the law entry standards tend to be fairly static.

With my UAI (and because of one stupid non-law subject) I'd be lucky if I got an offer to do law at MaqU, not that I'm applying :p

Original degree: B Business (Accounting) @ UWS
Transfer degree: B Business @ UTS

UAI: 74.85
GPA: 5.25 (after 1 year).

Keep in mind:
- I called UTS and they said that they will only look at uni results since I've completed one year of tertiary study.
- I applied for the Special Admission scheme at UTS on the basis of financial disadvantage and they got back to me saying that I'm eligible for the scheme.

original degree:

B economics / B law @ UWS (3rd year, just about to finish economics degree).

transfer:

grad law @ Usyd
grad law @ UNSW
grad law @ UTS

UAI: 94.25
GPA: 5.95
WAM: 79.5

I got this semester to push my GPA above 6.0 need 1 HD + 3 Ds. Rang up all the universities, got green light with all of them with my current marks, so hopefully UTS law at least.

Argh.
