1 Sep 2009, 9:18 PM ![]() | Re: Which university is best for law?: The definitive answer So.. um, does anyone know which law school offers the best course? Or are we just going to continue petty arguments over sources, peoples opinions and which university someone attends? Or where I could find it. And please don't say the good uni guide, that site is impossible to navigate and I know you're being sarcastic. All I want is a straight answer, preferably with factual backup. Just maybe? please? |

Today, 1:55 PM ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Which university is best for law?: The definitive answer The non-law degree will not make a difference to your law degree so go for interest...you'll need to stay motivated for 5 years so pick what suits your ability and interests best. BTW in terms of prestige, take it with a grain of salt...MQ is supposed to be better that UWS (often reiterated by my academics at MQ) and personally I found the UWS law faculty to be better funded, staffed and the program was better. Keep in mind also that if you hate a particular uni you can transfer but no one can tell you which one you will prefer, some of us like a practical approach, others like a philosphical approach etc...

And am tempted by the uni of newcastle, mainly because I grew up there and know my way around okay. Thanks again again
