Being A Barrister in WA

Hi

Can someone explain to me the process of becoming a barrister in WA? Are you best to work for a certain amount of years in different areas to get as much experience or just stick to one area? And how you find work? If your not a top barrister can you still make a decent living, I mean will there still be work? Just never been 100% sure so wanted to clarify.

Thanks
