Hey guys! :)

I recently completed my Trials exam for History Extension and something has been bugging me. For Q1, I made reference to the source by using quotations e.g. Herodutus wrote "entertaining history". However, through the whole essay, I never actaully wrote like "The source shows that . . ." or "The source supports this . . .", only the integration of quotations.

I don't know if this is a silly question but did I make 'proper' reference to the source? Or did I have to actually say, "The source . . ."?

Thank you :)

Our teacher tells us to address the source directly in the first paragraph "the source suggest..."etc, but to then intersperse relevant quotes throughout the rest of the essay :) goodluck !
