I play the flute, and I was offered an invitation to Music Extension 1. I'm currently considering performance. How well do I need to play the flute? If you've done Music Extension 1, could I please see your pieces? I'd like to have a good idea of what I'm getting myself in to.

I think everyone in my music ext cohort was AMEB grade 7 and above.
It's not really about how technically difficult the pieces are, but more about how well you play the piece. Mind you if you play a piece well that's technically difficult then you're likely to do better. Like you're not going to get an E4 for playing twinkle twinkle little star.
I did composition for ext, but i'd done my certificate of performance for sax if that helps.
