I am a moron - i got 11/12 for it because for the very first question i didnt put it in scientific notation.

that epitomises the meaning of rushing through the question

hahaha i didn't read both parts of the very first question - went along writing the number with 2 sig. fig. then realising it was scientific notation I smacked my pen against my head!!

I was surprised there wasn't a "calculator" question, though!! :)

Yeh i totally didnt revise scientific notation...was the correst answer like 3.397x10^6
but then how do u round that off to 3 sig figs?
icant remember what i put but i think it was like 3.40 x 10^6
