So I am considering using The Outsiders as my related text for discovery. It is one of my favourite novels so I thought it would be easier for me to write about, rather than the one I am doing in class. I was just wondering if anyone has any information? I understand that the main discovery in the novel would be ponyboy's self-discovery (or even Johnny's). I was hoping to get some help with that, for example, some techniques that are used in order to show discovery throughout the novel. I am unable to form the ideas that I need in order to write a paragraph for this related text, although I do understand the concepts.
