20 Nov 2009, 4:24 PM ![]() | Italian Notes - question You can hide this advertisement by registering. What sort of notes do you take that are essential for revision before tests and exams in Italian (or any other language)? Is it mostly on how to conguigate (sp?) verbs and draw tables and stuff? What are your notes on? |

20 Nov 2009, 4:24 PM ![]() | Re: Italian Notes - question Since year 7. So 4 years. And compared to many studying in at my school, I don't speak it at home which is a bit of a disadvantage I guess. But its something I'm going to start with my father (but he hates speaking it with me lol) |

21 Aug 2009, 2:59 PM ![]() | Re: Italian Notes - question I was just kicking back on my bed one day and debating as to how i'd go if I just randomly picked up a VCE language subject. ROFL. But I am not game enough to pick up the challenge. Maybe one day I will when I have less at stake. Seriously though - good on you dior1! It sounds really difficult! It really is inspiring.

20 Nov 2009, 4:24 PM ![]() | Re: Italian Notes - question It will be difficult as I'm pretty much hopeless with general conversation..which happens to be a MASSIVE part of year 12 italian. But I'll just have to try my best. & goodluck with your VCE subjects! Hopefully one day you will be able to study a new language ( I see you're already doing some Turkish courses ) |

21 Aug 2009, 2:59 PM ![]() | Re: Italian Notes - question Hehe indeed. I would love to study Turkish as a major at ANU in an International Relations or Arts Degree. For me, studying a language goes TOTALLY against my learning style. But lol I was determined to learn a language as both an act of rebellion and because I have a love for other cultures. Thankyou for the well wishes. And lol, you have inspired me to cook some pasta for lunch!

22 Dec 2008, 2:44 PM ![]() | Re: Italian Notes - question Dior, having completed french and receiving straight A+'s for ALL oral assessments(which was my specialty), i would advise u to practice speaking in italian to the smartest and most reliable person u know- yourself. Yes, i know, u look like a dickhead speaking to urself in a foreign language, however, this method of practicing for oral: -Boosts confidence -Improves pronunciation -Habituates you to the sound of your own voice in a foreign language -Assists in memorising basic and complex grammatical constructions (Ur more likely to memorise something if you say it rather than just think it) -Teaches you to rephrase if you do not know the vocab or grammar necessary to say a given sentence. -Saves time (beats writing out a huge script) Just make sure u have a grammar book on the redy when you speak in italian so u can confer with it when ur not sure about a given construction. Good luck bella |
