Re: Italian

Yay, finally somebody else studying it!

How come your scared? I do worry about the workload next year, and the fact that it is harder than all my other subjects because it actually involves learning another language!!

Re: Italian

Sorry, I'm still here! I only just discovered this site and forgot about it. =P

I'm scared predominately for the oral. I come from an Italian background, and while I know the grammar alright, I'm terrified of speaking. And even though I'm alright at grammar, I don't feel like I know enough. ARGH!

Ciao a tutti. Io faccio l'italiano quest'anno. Lo studio da nove anni, e l'amo tanto.
Comunque, dimmi cosa pensate degli esami e come andate in generale per la maturit*.
A presto.

Re: Italian

Ciao dior, come va?

The girls at my school did their oral today and said the time just flies and they didn't get to say everything that they had prepared. Still, I'm shitting myself for next year :S :S
I'm not a very confident speaker, to me , it sounds funny when i roll my tongue on words haha. Does anyone else have this problem?

Anche, I need to do heaps of extra italian work to improve and get a little confidenter in the language. What can I do?

Re: Italian

i did yr12 italian this year, the oral wasnt too bad i was sooo worried for it but as soon as i got into the little room, it just comes to you. i know i stuffed up a few grammer things but if you correct yourself they were happy. i also took in some photos to talk about, my detailed study topic was on italian fashion influences. so far im not to wrried for my written exam on tuesday. i dont speack at home to my italian parents or to anyone else besides my teacher/classmates, my advice is to get as much exposer to italian culture, eatin out, watching your favorite movies in italian, and practise grammar!! good luck for you italian studies!!
