Although most detailed studies are similar to those who are in your class, I'm sure it won't hurt talking through them and getting some ideas - who knows, we might be able to come off with some gems. I'll get the ball rolling... Black magic (i.e. animism) - esp in Bali Maids in Indonesia Sorry, they're not really gems, but there may be potential? So let's share thoughts Indo learners!!! Terima kasih kalian!

3 Feb 2009, 10:24 PM ![]() | Re: Indo learners - Detailed Studies I just did my indo last year, didn't really bother with researching for my detailed study and all, mainly because i am indonesian, you know, i sorta thought everything's gonna be easy ass. But it's kinda not that easy eh, sometimes. Lots of work. But my teacher was cool. I hardly do anything in saturday school, even study for the school SACs. And somehow i managed to wrote my orals the night before. I actually passed. They're inviting me to the top scorers night. I laughed my arse off when i opened that letter! I reckon for all you Indonesians out there, who wants to lift up ur enter score, do it with indonesian fo sho, as long as ure good at bluffing and using fancy indo words. Trust me. So yeah, DETAILED STUDIES. If ure a chick, you can easily do a topic on how women are still discriminated against, especially in Bali. Or speculate about Kartini - and how no one seemed to continue on her spirit and hopes of better future for women. You can even do Megawati, i heard she's head to head with SBY, for this year's election. 'Poligami' is also good and interesting. Hey i hope those helps! Cheers. |

It branches off into heaps, like religion, main diseases, etc. I find if you do something that relates or interests you, you'll generally do better. Good luck! |
