I want to get a raw 40 in it, and I was wondering if you (as wise, experienced alumni) could help me predict a score? Here's what I do (and don't hesitate to call me a nerd, everyone knows already): Reading: Harry Potter: The Half Blood Prince, seventy pages a week. Listening: Naruto - French-dubbed (episode 161! Just finished the bounty hunter arc!), conversation Speaking: conversation with teachers, classmates Writing: ...all right, so not much. But I did write four exam pieces during these holidays. Grammar: Schaums book, edition old. My teacher's prescribed the class exercises out of these, and I try to use them in speaking and writing Vocabulary: Words from school, words from books, words I can't translate from English. Anything. I tend to regard French as a hobby, so it's more of a bludge subject than anything else, but I love languages and I get around top marks. My school's ranked... 29th, I think, and we're the only class. I'm ranked in... the top three. My teacher is always impressed with my speaking and vocab. (I'm sorry if I sound arrogant; I want to give as much information as possible.) So, my question is in three parts: 1) What am I doing wrong? 2) What more should I do? 3) What's my predicted score? Thanks. |
