i could not go to chem classes at school and still easily manage an A+ sac avg with our sacs (which is the case becuase our teacher is so shit does no work, is on her laptop 24/7 and does NO examples at all)

and he does spec/methods/physics/chem

id go as far as saying he has easily contributed 20 enter points to my score (however statistically wrong that may be, but you get it )

all for the price of 20$ for 2 hours

im sure some people from here go there and can vouch for his awsomeness

He's like the Bruce Lee of the tutoring world (judging from the responses in this thread).

Be anti-differentiated, my friend.

Re: Tutors

Hi ... I went to Jacks for a few months but left because his classes were WAY too crowded it was hard to find anywhere to sit. His accent was also a little bit too heavy for my liking - sometimes I couldn't understand him.

I went to a different place Academy Plus which was brilliant (they are in Berwick) . They run classes too - but the size is comfortable. The tuition was better than Jacks...Jack didn't explain things to the degree that I wanted to know. Academy plus also offered free online help - as well and provided notes and question booklets.I went all year for Methods, Chemistry and Physics. The teaching is better than in MacRob...
I got 44 in Physics, 45 in Methods and 47 in Chemistry (ENTER 99.20) .....definetly recommend - the best in Melbourne by far!
Their website is www.vcetuition.com.au you won't regret it.

Re: Tutors

Copying from Kopite (has some long username on here I can't be bothered finding with a liverpool avatar):

"Classes are held in a classroom with around 50 students (good for picking up Tongue) , and runs for roughly 2 hours for $20. "

I don't know any more. I personally don't like tutors :P

Hiya, would you happen to still have the man's number? I'm in a dim kid in year 12 and I desperately need help in basically all my subjects!

Re: Tutors

I go to tutor at Hoang's place in Springvale. He's pretty good, does one on one and also group tutoring. Hoang tutors Maths/Chem/Physics

He's a qualified teacher at a private school in melbourne.

I highly recommond him as he's got all the resources and knows what to expect in the exams.

The tutoring place is on the same road as Jacks.

You can contact him on 0403 193 989.

And no...he does not have an accent.
