I've been looking everywhere for it on VCAA's website.. it's driving me insane.
...and that would be because scaling is done by VTAC, not VCAA. lol.
http://www.vtac.edu.au/pdf/scaling_report.pdf
it's easier to just go to google and type in 'VCE scaling 2008'

Don't think high SAC scores guarantee you a 40+ score - I only lost 1 or two marks overall in my SACs and I got a 33 for Texts and Traditions because I got a B + in my final exam

O_O I'm doing Texts and Traditions this year and I really need to get a 39 to do this other course next year....for each of my SACs, i've only got A's and one A+...does that mean if I don't get an A+ on the end of year, I'm doomed??

Re: Is it hard to get a 40+ study score?

grades and scores vary very much sometimes, it's strange. someone else on this forum got
A+ A+ B+ for their subject last year which had the weighting: 50% SACs, 50% exams, and managed a 38 - whilst on the same subject, another girl got A+ A+ A (one point off A+) and got a 39. perhaps in Texts and Traditions the median was higher, not sure.

all I can say is, try and hope for the best! good luck

what about a borderline A+ in the midyear and a high A+ in the end of year for psych?
