Today, 2:33 AM ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Holiday Studying You can hide this advertisement by registering. Ok, honestly, how much is everyone doing (only really applies to to year those doing 5+ unit 3/4 subjects).I had aspirations of having organised study of up to 8-9 hours a day throughout the holidays broken only by various VCE seminars I'm attending. A lot of good that was. I've been averaging 5-6 hours of study a day, which is a bit disappointing. I'm studying in 60-120 minute blocks (it varies) doing 3-4 different subjects a day. Hopefully I can pick it up next week >_< How about you? |

Yesterday, 1:29 PM ![]() | Re: Holiday Studying Well I'm a Year 11 doing Psychology 3/4... I've been doing 2-3 hours a day (although my study has been over an extended period of time, not just cramming in 2 hours a day out of nowhere during holidays) and I'm satisfied at the level I'm at. I've learned everything there is to learn and have done about 13 practice exams (including VCAA, NEAP, TFT and Insight), all of the questions from Checkpoints, the questions from "A+ Psych Notes" and I've also finished writing up my summary notes. I still have three VCAA exams which haven't been touched yet (I'll do them all by the end of the holidays, also planning to do them again a second time around before the actual exam itself) plus two lectures for Psych which I'll be attending next month. I also have a copy of "Excel: Revise in a month" for Psych which I'll do a month before the exam (as the name suggests). I got a low range A+ on my mid-year which I was unhappy with (but I'm eligible for a derived score, and my cohort is very strong) so I'm hoping to smash this exam and get a 44-47 study score....hopefully.... |

20 Nov 2009, 6:08 PM ![]() | Re: Holiday Studying It's more the effectiveness of studying, I was doing 2-3 hours a day, last year during this period but they were at times when I was most focused, I didn't bother studying when I wasn't 100% focused.

For instance, in Legal, while I'm revising Unit 3 which I haven't done for months, I just get the feeling that I've barely scratched the surface. |
