Re: Just a general question

Literature is harder, there is a much deeper level of analysis. Although I am doing worse in English than I am in Lit... :/

You can still do it. My legal studies and lit classes run concurrently and I alternate between classes. But because Lit is harder I tend to go to Lit more.

And Lit is much harder than standard English.

Wow, I've never heard of that happening before. Don't think all schools would be that flexible; my school wouldn't be.

Yeah my legal teacher is a top bloke and he's very understanding. I normally end up apologising for not turning up at the end of every lesson because of the guilt. lol

Re: Just a general question

I do Literature and it is definitely harder, but it's also easier to do well in. Weird huh? You seem to be surrounded by higher level students with more dedication & focus then a mainstream English class.

So there's less distraction & more competition to drive you to do well.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with that.

Agree. Literature is the specialist maths of english.

In terms of study scores, it is significantly more difficult to get 40+ as you are competing against the best english students in the state, but it's lovely....
