One of the trial papers I sat [MAV 2006] certainly had a question about an object being launched from the top of a building, hitting the ground etc.. had to find angle of projection, highest point reached, velocity upon impact and stuff. Is that what your referring to? |

If there is an exam questions that seems like projectile motion, i don't think the examiners are expecting u to know how to do projectile, but with what u know in the rest of the vector calculus topic. |

18 Nov 2009, 3:04 PM | Re: projectile motion i need help finding the velocity of an object thrown horizontally off a cliff just before it hits the ground? i thought adding the vertical and horizontal velocities together but came up with the wrong answer? maybe im not finding the velocities correctly or maybe i have the wrong idea? |
