Re: Exam II -> long but reasonable?

Yeah it was pretty long but, combined with the heat, it made it more difficult.

My calculator wouldn't solve one of the integrals (it was taking over 3 minutes) so I lost 1 mark from there. Stupid ass calculator. Other than that I lost like (i think) 4 or 5 marks from the analysis. I checked with my teacher. Dunno about the multiple choice though. How would you compare the exam to past years?

Re: Exam II -> long but reasonable?

I expected to be owned by the Spesh 2 exam.. but it wasn't half as bad as I expected.. this is not necessarily a good thing. ug
who else found this exam a little too simple?

Re: Exam II -> long but reasonable?

I think it was doable, but my expectation-of-horrible-paper had me kind of panicked. I'm still in post exam stupor. I hate to do this, but was the answer to the last question 1296m?

Re: Exam II -> long but reasonable?

Yeah that's what I remember getting. Used pythagoras after finding the boats distance to be 489 or something like that.

Spluff is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: Exam II -> long but reasonable?

I thought it was pretty easy (the only question(s) I didn't get were the definite integral and the follow distance question about the slide), but it really filled up the time (probably because I wasn't thinking straight in the heat).

Unhappy Re: Exam II -> long but reasonable?

hmm, i found it easier than i expected. In reading time i was praying for a miracle but it went well. Yeah i got 1296. Missed about 4 marks even if i do well on exam 2 i will not be able to push 40 raw because in exam 1 i made SO many silly mistakes. Oh well no more spesh again...

Re: Exam II -> long but reasonable?

Spesh was such an awesome subject. Most likely my favorite subject. I'll miss it.

This Exam 2 sort of felt like Methods Exam 2s since the questions seemed to have dragged on plus it kept asking for decimal places.
