Re: bio or physics?

Bio is time consuming if you want to do really well in it ...however, doesnt mean don't do it because its a time consuming subject if you njoy it go for it you might find you go better in it than physics. But physics i'd say might not be that time consuming i ve heard ppl goo better in physics thats if they like it and i don't think has soo much info like bio

Re: bio or physics?

What cyp said is pretty much spot on.
Bio will take a bit more time if you want to do well since you need to understand lots of little terms etc whereas physics is more less something that you can cotton on quickly if you listen.

Re: bio or physics?

Did both subjects for a year; bio probably has a larger workload than physics, but VCE physics is mind-numblingly boring. Hated physics from start till end because I couldn't get myself interested, but I guess it just wasn't the subject for me. On the other hand, if YOU'VE studied physics before and liked the content, by all means do it. So my advice is: Do what you are more interested in without being deterred by work required because you'll definitely do better in a subject you can engage with.

Re: bio or physics?

When it comes down to exams. Bio was pretty much trying to memorize (oh and understand a little) half the text book at a time.
Physics you actually have to understand the concepts and theories otherwise you're pretty screwed.
So depending on what type of learner you are, either could be easier or harder.
