4 Nov 2009, 6:06 PM ![]() | Urgh, who's freaking out about Rev's exam? You can hide this advertisement by registering. -Puts up her hand-Lmao. I've got French and Russian. They both meshed pretty well together (teacher gave us peek at American Rev 'while ago.... ermm ... interesting) but right now I feel like my heads about to sporatically combust. I keep forgetting dates in the French, and totally convinced I am going to go zonk on the exam. Any one else in the same boat? What rev's everyone else studying? |

9 Apr 2009, 9:07 PM ![]() | Re: Urgh, who's freaking out about Rev's exam? VCE History is a joke. They really need to have a mid-year for this subject; it would make it far easier to remember the content and enable students to really get an in-depth knowledge of each unit. I can't seem to remember ANYTHING about AOS2 France and China AOS1 is pretty much a distant, foggy memory. So screwed. A C or C+ on the exam would be a welcome relief!! |

Melonsunday, after reading what you wrote about how far maoism strays away from traditional marxism, I highly doubt you'll get a C or C+ if you were to assimilate that under exam conditions. That was some pretty good stuff! |

14 Dec 2008, 2:08 PM ![]() | Re: Urgh, who's freaking out about Rev's exam? Argh i'm full dead for this exam! I'm doing France and Russia, and i've got the whole "what happened" down...but i am totally lost when it comes to analysing and interpreting!!! All the "high level responses" in the past exams are so complicated and i would never be able to write something like that! Even the medium level answers seem so in depth too!

I'm so freaking screwed for France its not funny! I feel so lost in it But I think I've got a pretty good handle on Russia. So many people are doing France & Russia! It seems most are doing those two, Russia & China or France & American. I don't think I've heard of anyone studying the Chinese & French or Chinese & American?? |

13 Nov 2008, 9:04 PM ![]() | Re: Urgh, who's freaking out about Rev's exam? If it helps, remember how many duds there will be also doing the exam, myself included. I somewhat gave up on History this year, designated it as my 5th subject and subsequently I haven't looked at my text books in two months. French and Russia, blaaaah. I only averaged about 80% on my SAC's this year, so it was never going to be great. History was so much more engaging in Year 11.

Yesterday, 9:45 PM ![]() | Re: Urgh, who's freaking out about Rev's exam? a student who averages 80% on sacs can hardly be labelled a 'dud'! depends on what school you go, but still, it's a fairly decent average (: anyway, good luck for tomorrow everyone! |

Having an idea on the subject of the SAC allowed for extensive study/cramming on that topic, but if any of them were completely unseen tasks, I would've been up struggle street. But, oh well, good luck to all.

23 Jul 2009, 12:40 PM ![]() | Re: Urgh, who's freaking out about Rev's exam? For Section A, Part 1 i'm predicting that they will ask us how a movement contributed to the development of a revolutionary situation. Following the trend of difficult exams this year, it seems like a reliable prediction - they have only ever asked for ideas, leaders and events - never have they asked for the contribution of the movement or various movements in the development of a revolution.
