| Exalted Member | jonorosie, my tutor said although they might ask you to have AT LEAST ONE text of your own choosing, it is a good idea to have more than 1. Obviously they expect more than one of your additional materials and to get the top mark, you are most likely to have more than 1. By the way, those texts cannot be the same kind ie. can't be 2 novels, 2 images etc... They have to be different type of texts. Hope this helps. A journal entry is pretty much a diary entry, in an extended form. It documents recent events, and how they affected the person making the entry, and is usually written in first person. For example, in Lionheart by Jesse Martin (my set text) he uses journal entries he made (roughly) everyday to present a realistic idea of what he was going through as he sailed around the world to his readers (audience) of his book. Does that help at all? I hope so ![]() If you've got anymore questions, feel free to ask!

5 Sep 2007, 1:24 PM ![]() | Hey guys, i have heard that you can use only one movie in the hsc, we are using strictly ballroom, does this mean that we cant use Rabbit Proof fence as our additional text for paper1 section 3 as i would be writing about Huckleberry Finn for physical journey Section. would it be fine if i use Rabbit proof fence as my additional material as it is also a prescribed text in that same section of physical journeys I just wanted to be sure if its ok to use it as related text in this section. Please help!! |
