Im pretty sure in 2001 hsc change question they asked students to refer to additional 'texts', which meant thats you HAD to use more than one additional text... However with the 2002 and 2003 hsc exams, the question states 'and AT LEAST one related material', which meant that you were only required one related material?

If you use only one additional material, you may not be able to get the top mark (Band 5/6)

Why not, if you have answered the question appropriately?

Answer the quesiton appropriately doesnt mean comprehensively. By providing only 1 additional material may not enough to show the marker you understand the concept of the journey and therefore you may get mark down.

When they say AT LEAST ONE, this implies they want more than one.

lol i'm pretty late on this forum but anwyays... they said at least one means they want 2, but in todays paper, paper 2, module c telling the truth said at least 2...... noone has enough time to use 3 additional material

yes, u can write in any type of text type, but try to be appropriate, that is the concept of journey can be successfully communicated iun your piece of writing.
