Re: is 44.5/50 good?

SAC marks, while claiming to contribute 33% (in most subjects), do not greatly affect your study score.

Your exam marks scale your SAC marks.
For instance:
SACS: 98%
EXAM 1: 90%
EXAM 2: 85%
SACS Scaled: 88%
Study Score: 43-45 Depending on Subjects

SACS: 67%
EXAM 1: 92%
EXAM 2: 94%
SACS Scaled: 92%
Study Score: 44-47 Depending on subjects
I literally failed my Specialist SACS yet when my marks came in, it was A+.

EDIT:
IT, you're looking at 95% average, Exams and SACs, if you want 45+.

I can't exactly remember what I got last year, something like 91/100 and 92/100 for IT:A SACs but most importantly I was ranked first in my cohort. I did alright on the exam but I probably screwed up some of the ambiguous questions on the exam and landed 47.

Yup, I failed most of my methods SACs think I got one where I got like 15% on it cause I had no idea what to do (That 15% came from copying a friend's SAC too) and I got 33 raw

Re: is 44.5/50 good?

I don't think there's any point in speculating,
the SACs are done and a thing of the past (as far as your concerned, but the VCAA will obviously do their crazy-moderation, either boost it up or plummet it down)

Everything lies within the exam now, just study hard for it and do your best and you will get the study score that reflects your efforts (hopefully)

I mean what else can you do?
I've stuffed up several SACs of mine, but what can ya do?
Let's just all aim to get the highest on the exam and we'll be fine (Y)

yeah you should be ok as long as the person ranked above doesn't completely flunk the exam. but generally the person ranked first doesn't do that at most schools so your in a good position.
