| Assistant Member | My class was pretty lazy too... I got A on exam quite easily despite using wrong formula for one....they wrote it wrong on data sheet!!!!! didnt tell me till afterwards then i forgot to change it ) So... what did everyone do for theyre projects?? I designed a RC car thingy with 2 independent wheels(so can swivel on spot), automatic headlights/torch, and bracket/trigger switch for future camera/auxiliary. I used a pre-made RC board with signals (for motors) RightFwd, RightBck, LeftFwd, LeftBck. I designed a circuit to use the four signals to control 5 things; 4 for wheels and the camera.(used logic so RightFwd and RightBck simultaneously triggered camera) Of course because i never did my work (at least not on my project ) i didnt get time for anything but original RC board/gears/body done.....and prototypes for autotorch & signal splitter thingyIf anyone wants to make a Light operated switch that turns ON in dark(for car headlights etc) i can give you the link to it on my site.....

Am completing 3/4 this year and for my project I am making a Digital Tachometer. I used the photographic method of transposing the circuit and am also creating a signal generator to simulate a running engine. The siggen will have a 9VDC motor running, connected to a fan that will break a light beam. It will be detected by my opto-electronic subsystem (photodiode) and will be calibrated to simulate an 8 cylinder motor. I am hoping to achieve a high 40's in this subject, but am unable to determine how well I am going as I am that far ahead of every other student, its crazy. I have two results so far: SAC 1: 100/100 SAC 2: 97/100 whilst most other students struggled to get mid 40's...

Unit 3 SACs: A Unit 4 SACs: C ![]() Exam: A its scaled down a heap so my study score was 34 If i did it again (at a better school ) i could get way higher score not worth it tho

How is it possible to achieve a raw score in the range of 40-41 with getting a C on your unit 4 sac. That's your project isn't it? Which equates to 50% of your total enter score. An A on the exam is only about 30% I'm pretty sure. Unless everyone in this subject are completely inert students? Would be keen to hear back..
