sorry if u keep answering the same threads over again,but i just want to clarify with u is if a person is ranked first with 95
student B with 85
C with 75 etc....

would that mean that their moderated assesment marks will be 10 marks apart from each other, or is it based on the 1,2 ,3 ranking in the hsc.

the relative difference will be kept according to laz....

e.g if A = 90, B = 80, C = 60

then the relative diff could also be shown using A=90, B=89, C=87

thats compression of marks, but also it can be stretched.... i think

Jesh is exactly right.

The relative differences won't always be preserved, but they usually should be.
